The move aims to enhance operational efficiency and ensure data sovereignty amid the continent’s rapidly accelerating infrastructure investment. Inmanta’s platform allows service providers to design, deploy, and manage data centre and cloud infrastructure dynamically, significantly reducing provisioning times from days to minutes while maintaining alignment between operational activities and business objectives.
Stefan Walraven, CEO and co-founder of Inmanta, highlighted the strategic importance of sovereign clouds as governments and enterprises seek greater control over their data and infrastructure. He emphasized that Africa’s burgeoning data centre ecosystem makes it an ideal market for this next stage of growth. The continent’s rapid expansion is driven by investments in subsea cables, national fibre rollout, fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) networks, and increasing demand for AI-driven digital services. Inmanta also sees regional opportunities for its Inmanta Connect solution, which automates fixed-line and network services.
