WasaaChat and iXAfrica Data Centres have entered a strategic partnership at AI EVERYTHING KENYA x GITEX KENYA to support the growth of Africa’s creative digital economy.

WasaaChat is building a unified digital ecosystem where social connection, content creation, entertainment, and commerce come together in one seamless platform from personalised feeds and real-time chat to Shorts, Videos, Liveroom, Music, Podcasts and Games.

For creators, this means more visibility and opportunities. Through monetisation features such as Stars gifting, direct Tips, Creator Studio and the Talent & Stars accelerator, WasaaChat is creating new pathways for African creators to build audiences, earn income and scale their digital presence.

iXAfrica comments that it is proud to support platforms that are not only digital-first, but Africa-first. This partnership reflects a bigger shift: Africa’s next wave of innovation will be powered by local platforms, local infrastructure and bold ecosystems built for the future. The creative economy needs infrastructure. The digital economy needs platforms. iXAfrica is building for this growth.
