The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) has announced the signing of three new cooperation agreements with academic and industry partners across different Egyptian governorates.

These collaborations aim to strengthen NTI’s efforts in building digital capacities, empowering youth, and supporting Egypt’s vision for a digitally skilled workforce aligned with the country’s Digital Vision 2030.

The first agreement was signed with the University of Innovation in the East Governorate. This partnership focuses on implementing joint training and research programs, facilitating the exchange of scientific and technical expertise. The initiative aims to qualify students and recent graduates in communications and information technology sectors, preparing them to meet the evolving demands of the labour market and fostering innovation, creativity, and competitiveness among Egyptian youth.

In Assiut Governorate, NTI partnered with Petra IT to launch vocational training programs under the Digital Youth of Egypt Initiative. These programs are designed to equip trainees with practical, hands-on experience in real work environments. The collaboration also aims to create employment opportunities for outstanding graduates and to develop joint applied projects that connect technical education with market needs both locally and internationally.

The third partnership was established with ABS.AI, a leading Cairo-based AI and data analytics company. Through this collaboration, NTI seeks to enhance youth skills in emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analysis, and software development. It also aims to provide job opportunities for NTI graduates, aligning with Egypt’s broader goal of digital transformation and fostering a new generation of tech-savvy professionals.
