Cassava Technologies and Zindi have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on delivering AI solutions and Graphics Processing Units-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) across the African continent.
This partnership marks a significant step toward accelerating Africa’s digital transformation. The two organizations plan to work together on various initiatives, including leveraging Cassava’s GPUaaS capabilities to support Zindi’s AI solution development and exploring opportunities to integrate their platforms and ecosystems for mutual benefit.
Cassava emphasizes that for Africa’s AI ecosystem to flourish, it is crucial to provide local developers and startups with accessible platforms and resources. The combination of Cassava’s data center GPU infrastructure and Zindi’s innovative data science platform is seen as a vital foundation for advancing digital progress on the continent.
Celina Lee, CEO and co-founder of Zindi, stated that the collaboration aims to improve African datasets, develop locally relevant solutions to regional challenges, and equip more African AI innovators with the resources they need to succeed.
