The Medusa Submarine Cable System has achieved a major technical milestone by successfully completing its final splice– the critical point where all cable segments are permanently connected, transforming individual sections into a seamless, unified network.
This milestone signifies that France, Morocco, and Tunisia are now physically linked through the Medusa cable, substantially boosting digital connectivity across the Mediterranean region. With the final splice in place, the project moves from the installation phase into the final preparations for commercial service, bringing enhanced bandwidth and resilient connectivity to the area.
