Moringa School, Kenya’s leading tech-education institution, has announced a strategic alliance with the Nomad Futurist Foundation and iXAfrica Data Centres to equip young professionals with the skills and practical experience needed to thrive in Africa’s booming digital infrastructure sector.
The collaboration leverages Nomad Futurist’s global digital infrastructure education platform to deliver a focused online course covering key areas such as data centre operations, sustainability, mechanical and electrical systems, cloud ecosystems, and AI-ready design. The program aims to introduce participants to the vital role data centres play in Africa’s digital economy, preparing them for the region’s increasing demand for skilled talent driven by cloud adoption, AI workloads, fintech growth, and expanding digital public infrastructure.
Participants who complete the course will be eligible for internships at iXAfrica’s NBOX1 campus, East Africa’s first hyperscale, carrier-neutral, AI-ready data centre. This facility provides a unique opportunity for graduates to gain hands-on experience working with high-density cooling, power systems, cloud interconnects, and sustainability operations–exposing them to the real-world environment powering Africa’s digital future.
