MTN South Africa is in the process of decommissioning two of its data centre facilities as part of a strategic initiative to optimise its infrastructure footprint and improve operational efficiency.
This move is part of a broader business rationalisation effort aimed at refining its data centre portfolio. The facilities set to be phased out are Gallo Manor in Johannesburg and Great Westerford in Cape Town.
The decision to consolidate operations is driven by the goal of maintaining service excellence while enhancing efficiency and security.
