TecEx has announced a strategic partnership with IXAfrica Data Centres to support the rapid development of the region’s digital ecosystem.
IXAfrica is spearheading regional expansion through its flagship 22.5MW NBOX1 campus in Nairobi. Serving as a key digital gateway to over 300 million people, the campus is positioned to become a vital hub for East Africa’s digital transformation.
Under the partnership, TecEx will provide comprehensive Importer of Record (IOR) and customs solutions, ensuring that critical servers, networking equipment, and AI infrastructure are delivered efficiently, compliant with regulations, and deployment-ready. This end-to-end logistics support aims to streamline the deployment process and reduce time-to-market for hyperscalers, cloud providers, and enterprises entering the East African market.
By leveraging TecEx’s expertise in global trade compliance and logistics, alongside IXAfrica’s state-of-the-art hyperscale infrastructure, the partnership aspires to enable regional and international technology providers to expand into East Africa confidently, with a focus on resilience and sustainability. This collaboration marks a significant step toward unlocking the region’s digital potential and fostering inclusive growth.
