Wingu Africa has announced a strategic partnership with Raddy Digital Solutions to support Tanzania’s growing digital economy. As part of this collaboration, Raddy has extended its fibre network into Wingu’s Tier III-standard data centre located in Dar Es Salaam, aligning with Wingu’s ongoing expansion of its secure, carrier-neutral facility.
Wingu Africa operates regional data centres with high availability and neutrality, connecting directly with major telcos including Vodacom, Tigo, Halotel, and Liquid Intelligent Technologies. Beyond Tanzania, Wingu also has facilities in Djibouti and Ethiopia, strengthening regional connectivity.
Raddy, a newly licensed Tanzanian internet service provider (ISP), is now leveraging Wingu’s robust platform to deliver fibre-based services to a broad customer base — residential users, businesses, mobile network operators, and other ISPs. This partnership aims to enhance service reliability and scalability, supporting Tanzania’s digital transformation efforts.
“Rooted in Tanzania and backed by local manufacturing capabilities, this collaboration strengthens our ability to serve enterprise clients with fast, reliable services and allows us to grow alongside the country’s digital development,” said Ramadhani Mlanzi, CEO of Raddy.
Wingu noted that Raddy’s entry into its ecosystem enriches the network, offering more options for customers, improved route diversity, and enhanced local interconnection among service providers. Freddy Mrema, Tanzania Sales Manager at Wingu Africa, highlighted that Raddy’s presence bolsters the country’s connectivity landscape, providing Wingu clients with greater agility and access to local expertise essential for supporting Tanzania’s expanding digital economy.
