Nokia has been honoured by GigaOm for the fourth consecutive year as a Leader and Outperformer in the GigaOm Radar Report for Data Center Switching, highlighting the strength of its Data Center Fabric solution.
GigaOm’s industry experts assessed nine leading data centre switching vendors using a comprehensive set of criteria, offering technology teams and executive leaders a decision-making framework for evaluating data centre switching solutions. Key evaluation metrics included hardware switch performance, advancements in network operating systems (NOSs), and automation tools designed for the design, deployment, and operation of large-scale data centre networks. GigaOm noted that as enterprises move toward an ‘application-first’ approach and embrace AI-driven applications, data centre switches are evolving to enhance these capabilities.
“Nokia was classified as an Outperformer due to its strong feature delivery over the past year, resulting in impressive scores across the report’s key and emerging features. The Nokia solution integrates seamlessly into existing heterogeneous deployments, facilitating organizations in ramping up their Nokia-based data centre network deployments,” said Andrew Green, Analyst at GigaOm.
