STULZ has announced the immediate availability of its new CyberAir 3PRO DX GE4(S) series, designed specifically for data centre environments.

This latest addition to the successful GE series of precision air conditioning systems featuring indirect free cooling is offered in three sizes, with capacities ranging from 24kW to 71kW, accommodating various room sizes and power demands. A wide range of equipment options are also available to tailor the units to specific customer needs.

Committed to providing innovative, environmentally responsible solutions, STULZ has engineered the CyberAir 3PRO DX GE4(S) series to utilize the future-proof A2L R454C refrigerant. Known for its safety and sustainability benefits, R454C is a non-toxic, flame-retardant refrigerant with high energy efficiency and a low global warming potential (GWP) of just 148, aligning with the requirements of the F-Gas Regulation 2024/573.

“R454C offers significant advantages over traditional refrigerants. The F-Gas Regulation aims to drastically reduce emissions of fluorinated greenhouse gases by encouraging the adoption of more climate-friendly alternatives like R454C. We are proud to provide our customers with solutions that ensure long-term investment security while actively supporting the reduction of the CO2 footprint in data centre cooling through sustainable design and innovation,” said Sebastian Maron, Senior Product Manager for Room Cooling at STULZ.

Safety in mission-critical environments remains a primary focus. The CyberAir 3PRO DX GE4(S) incorporates a dedicated internal safety concept developed specifically for low-GWP refrigerants. The refrigeration circuit is certified as permanently leakproof, and its optimized design prevents refrigerant accumulation within the unit. Additionally, two explosion-proof gas sensors are installed in the housing and control cabinet to continuously monitor refrigerant levels. If elevated concentrations are detected, the system automatically shuts down all electrical components (except fans) and triggers an alarm to ensure safety.

User-friendliness is another key feature. The advanced E² control system, equipped with a touchscreen display, allows intuitive operation of the units. Already utilized in the CyberAir Mini series, the E² control has been further enhanced for the new range with extensive interface support, including Modbus RTU, BACnet IP, BACnet MS/TP, HTTP, and SNMP. This ensures seamless integration into existing building management systems, with functionalities such as device detection, access control, event and trend logging, and emergency operation mode, providing maximum reliability and transparency.

“CyberAir 3PRO DX GE4(S) embodies our ongoing commitment to delivering high-tech, modern design solutions that prioritize energy efficiency, scalability, and dependability. By adopting R454C refrigerant across the series, we also help our customers reduce greenhouse gas emissions and enhance their environmental credentials. Further models are in development, and our account managers are available at any time for tailored advice and additional information,” said Maron.
