The nVent HOFFMAN RackChiller CDU800 is a Coolant Distribution Unit designed for the stringent cooling demands of high-density data centres.

With a cooling capacity of 800kW, this unit efficiently manages the thermal challenges posed by next-generation computing technologies. As chip designs evolve, producing increased heat output, traditional air cooling systems struggle to maintain optimal operating conditions, making liquid cooling solutions like the RackChiller CDU800 essential for maintaining performance and reliability.

Featuring a compact design of 35 inches wide by 47 inches deep (800 x 1200 mm), the RackChiller CDU800 maximizes cooling efficiency while occupying minimal floor space. It is ideal for close-coupled and direct-to-chip cooling applications, removing heat from sensitive equipment through a continuous circulation process that combines pumping and heat exchange. With high-performance liquid flow capabilities, the CDU delivers secondary flow rates of up to 850 litres
Reliability and serviceability are key design considerations for the RackChiller CDU800. Equipped with N+N redundant pumps, it ensures consistent operation even in the event of a pump failure. Its sophisticated smart control system incorporates over 35 integrated sensors to monitor performance continuously.
