Flot has selected Velmie as its digital banking system integrator to support the launch of its next-generation neobank across Africa.

Together, they are building scalable digital banking infrastructure designed for the African market, including mobile-first financial experiences, flexible payment ecosystems and the core capabilities needed to grow faster.

Why African Neobanks like Flot Partner with Velmie:

Infrastructure Built for African Market Realities
Designed to support mobile-first banking, agent networks, cash-in/cash-out flows and hybrid financial ecosystems common across African markets.

Mobile Money & Local Payment Integrations
Accelerate integrations through Velmie’s established ecosystem of mobile money providers, payment gateways, processors, and banking partners, such as Monime, LeoGC, MPGS, and others, enabling faster deployment of funding, payments, cards, and transaction services across African markets.

Digital Wallets, Cards & Everyday Financial Services
Enable virtual and physical cards, P2P transfers, bill payments, utility payments, airtime/mobile top-ups, QR payments, and merchant collections within a single platform.

Agent Banking & Merchant Ecosystem Support
Empower local agents and businesses with tools for payment acceptance, cash handling, customer onboarding, and transaction management.

Faster Time-to-Market
Launch digital banking and payment products in months instead of years with Velmie’s modular, API-driven infrastructure.

Slava Ivashkin, CEO & Founder, Velmie, said: “We’re excited to support Flot in bringing innovative financial services to the African market. Their vision closely aligns with the growing need for digital financial inclusion in emerging markets. Africa remains one of the most dynamic regions for fintech innovation, and with each partnership, we bring not only our technology, but also the experience and market understanding required to build scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions.”

This partnership reflects Velmie’s continued commitment to enabling fintech growth in Africa by delivering flexible, API-driven solutions tailored to diverse market needs.
